Potential Inception

We are potentially startup of online retail business store in Pakistan with proposed registered business name of “CPEC Sodagar Private Limited. It will be virtually operated initially with target as partner with marketing more of Ali Baba’s products through CPEC Sodagar Ecommerce platform. IT folks will be backbone for our business initially. Business name was result of using Google Adwords and found word CPEC is searched a lot in Pakistan around 100K searches on average monthly. This is going to give raise to our model eventually and word Sodagar is pretty much of local connotation used for businessman.

Got Inspiration?

Amazon Inc. devised its model with expectancy of having larger customer base when internet was newly introduced for commercial use. We are developing business model on same basis, as we are expecting larger growth in online shopping trend in Pakistan from recently published articles, blogs and Daraz.PK and Kamyu.PK sale on Black Friday 2015-2016. Our focus would be to grab potentially growing customer base with an expectation that customer need variety of products, which delivers them significantly great satisfaction compare to what existing in market consists of.

  • Academic Research from IBA Karachi shows that our giant Ecommerce stores overly priced and variety seeking behavior is on the top of it [2].
  • Research from independent source of Kamyu shows that Electronics of household nature are sought more from customers with other extensive household items [3].

Business Model

Marketing Affiliates of Chinese E-Commerce Giant Ali Baba

We will be marketing affiliates of giant Chinese E-Commerce retail stores and taking advantage of CEPC, which has long-term prospects of china’s low cost product flow into Pakistani market. With growing services sector contribution into GDP of Pakistan, we have opportunity to be a bridge between suppliers from China with strong economies of scale and creating market for them in Pakistan as service partner routing sales from our websites, providing them warehousing and delivery as back-office to reduce lead time in product delivery.
