Introduction

Vitamins are important substances that our body needs to grow and develop normally. There are 13 vitamins that our body needs for growth and development. Each of them has different roles and benefits to our health. The critique review in this paper will focus on the quality of science on Vitamin and the quality of design from the two posters from Ms. Wong Lap Ying and Ms. Chow Chui Ting. The topic of Ms. Wong’s poster is about the benefits of vitamin C for skin and that of Ms. Chow’s poster is about how vitamin B Complex enhances digestive health.

Evaluation on Ms. Wong’s poster - The title

For the poster from Ms. Wong Lap Ting, the title of the poster, The Amazing Benefits of Vitamin C for Skin, is quite attractive to the readers and the topic on ‘skin’ is appealing to readers because most of us cares about the condition of our skin. The poster is a helpful resource for us to know more about how Vitamin C can help with our skin and the ways to improve our skin condition.

Evaluation on Ms. Wong’s poster – The quality of design and science

In the content of the poster, Ms. Wong has clearly and orderly given us a brief introduction of Vitamin C, a few points to the benefits of Vitamin C to our skin, how and how much can we take in Vitamin C. The information is easy to read and there are charts to make readers easier to comprehend the scientific information. After all, the poster is full of text, it would be better to put more pictures in the posters to make it more attractive and colorful.

The main topic of the poster, as addressed in the title, is about the benefits of Vitamin C, however, there is only a small section on the benefits of Vitamin C for skin. It would be better if there are more elaborations and deeper scientific knowledge on how vitamin C would help rejuvenates the skin, reduces sunburn and helps heal wounds. The fact is, some of the readers may already know Vitamin C have certain benefits on skin, readers might want to know more about how and why Vitamin C scientifically can help and do such amazing thing. The proportion of the contents should be more focus on benefits of Vitamin C to our skin and this should be the major part of the poster, not just a small section in the poster.

Evaluation on Ms. Chow’s poster - The title

The title of Ma. Chow’s poster is How Vitamin B Complex Enhances Digestive Health. The title is straight to the focus and it draws the attention of the readers because we seldom heard of Vitamin B Complex and its function to our digestive system. However, the layout and the arrangement of contents is a bit messy. The abstract and the introduction of the topic is difficult to define. It is suggested to add a subtitle for each paragraph indicating which paragraph is the abstract and which one is the introduction.
