Career dream Choice or Obligation

In the book of DO WHAT YOU LOVE Tokumitsu sees Jobs' famous speech - and Jobs himself as perfectly encapsulating the "do what you love" ethos that has become so dominant in the way we think about work and careers, Tokumitsu’s problem, though, is with the way "do what you love" has become a modern-day mantra that devalues actual work while obscuring most workers, I think, is worry about the opinion of anyone beyond your friends ,shouldn’t  worry about prestige. Prestige is the opinion of the rest of the world. When can ask the opinions of people whose judgment the respect, what it adds to consider the opinions of people, don’t even know this is easy advice to give. It’s hard to follow, especially when you’re young, but think it is necessary to do what you love or if you do not what you love, you must learn to love what you do.

For people who embrace the idea of do what you love, the work becomes something done not for wages, but for pleasure and moral self-improvement. Once that narrative takes hold, it becomes hard to move the conversation back to the nuts and bolts discussion of wages and benefits (‘OSBORN, 10). It is important to feel motivated and inspired in your career, enjoying your career should be a priority over earning a high salary a career dream give you extra motivation to meet your goals. Selecting a career is the most important decision in a person’s life. Picking a career is not as easy as it seems. To some people, picking a job based on money or a salary is very important. To others, being happy with a job is more important than money (Tokumitsu 153). To be happy keep focus in your goals, a career dream can be affected by false opportunities, to do something well you have to like it. That idea is not exactly novel. We’ve got it down to four words: “Do what you love.” But it’s not enough just to tell people that. Doing what you love is complicated, many countries implement time limits on temp work, after which companies are required to hire temps full-time. Other countries require equal pay for equal work (Tokumitsu 156). So just do what you like, and let prestige take care of itself prestige is especially dangerous to the ambitious. If you want to make ambitious people waste their time on errands, the way to do it is to bait the hook with prestige.

Many people feel there something wrong with themselves if they don’t enjoy their work or can’t find work they love (Tokumitsu 119). Do what you love not necessarily have to do an obligation in your life, love what you do can give an extra support for your whole life, can love a career that does not exploit you even if will depend of the decision we make, a dream career can be hard for so many peoples, Career dreams can come in any forms commonly what they want to be when they grow up. There are hundreds, thousands or even millions of careers you can choose from. Because of this, people will be confused for they’ll have a lot of options even if you love what you do or not.  (“Kucharvy, 15). having a lot of options choosing a career dream from simple ones to the more complicated ones your commitment is the key to choose your dream job

Even with a career dream you can feel frustrated, not necessarily do what you love can be your only option, you must look to get a balance in your life and work. the concept of balancing work and life was presented to us as an effortless task. Ideally, I should be able to balance the amount of time I spend doing work equally with the amount of time I spend doing something to improve my quality of life (“Tokumitsu”). Work and life must be equally to improve your qualities spending the same amount of time to get an appropriate balance, the best thing you can do is to be positive, happy, and willing to do anything without complaint (Tokumitsu 123). Be positive is less stressing and help to enjoy a job that you do, feel motivated with the work without the frustration of don’t do what they love for example Steve Jobs said “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma “which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.
