1. Water Pollution

Pollution can come in a form of chemical substances or energy, such as; liquid, noise, heat or light pollutants. Water is one of the most serious related ecological threats faced today. Water pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the water that cause adverse change. This report will describe the different form of water pollution and the effects it has on the ecological system and human beings. Moreover, it Identify possible solutions to this problem and a few recommendations to deal with the issues.

2. Type of water pollution

2.1 Point -Sources Pollution

There are many ways water can be polluted. “One way is when the pollution coming from a single source is related to as point-source pollution. Secondly, pollution caused by many sources, is called nonpoint-source pollution. However, the pollution that affects the environment hundreds and thousands of miles away from the source, such, is called transboundary pollution” (Fubra limited 2000).

The most common form of Point- sources pollution is from a single location or an activity in the area. For example; “A discharge from a pipe attached to the factory, or an oil spill from a tanker, mining activity dispose of waste into the river or a waste water from a restaurant or either someone poring used oil from a car down a drain this eventually ends up in the water way”. 2.2 Nonpoint -Sources Pollution

The second type of pollution is called “non-point sources pollution.” “It is when the streams or rivers are being affected by number of pollutants dumping waste into a water sources continuously.” For example; a leakage from sewage pipes or waste water from factories. Moreover, “there are also various land runoff, such as; precipitation, atmospheric deposition, drainage, seepage or hydrologic modification, such also can be washed away by rain or snowmelt moving
