After World War One, political instability led to the uprise of fascism in Europe making room for Hitler to rise to power, take charge and try to create a German Empire by the only ways he saw fit, war and conquer. Fascism was an idea which accepted war as an appropriate way for achieving goals and glorified the nation’s military. Nazi Germany, with it’s fascist ideals, attacked Poland, officially kicking off the start of World War Two, the largest armed conflict in human history.

Hitler’s rise to power and the popularity he gained was a key cause in World War Two. He was the head of the Nazi Regime and rose to power in the middle of 1934. When the president of Germany died, Hitler received even more power and control. He promised a better Germany and therefore was extremely popular among the German citizens. He was not a fan of the Treaty of Versailles because he believed it wasn’t fair to Germany.
