Edmund Burke said, “Beauty is the promise of happiness” which is a very interest   statement from such a well know statesman. I can see the meaning he is trying to infer by this quote, too me it’s far fetch and I believe this to be true for the fact beauty fades and one day we will all be old and wrinkly and there is no denying this.

Happiness is a physical state of the brain. When we are happy our brain produces neurochemicals that result in us wanting to eat, or sing, or do something we like right then and there. There are four major chemicals in the brain that influence our happiness Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Endorphins and each one plays a different role.  Beauty is the combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, which pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight. So if beauty comes in many different sizes and shapes, beauty might be different from person to person depending so many factors. If beauty is on the out side beauty fades in to the wind so does the happiness we all look for in out life.
