Sterlization of Young Females

 Dealing with most vulnerable population in health care industry and choosing two alternative unwanted choices is known as dilemma. It is story of 22 years old young female patient suffering of abdominal pain presented in Emergency department. The radiological study reveals that patient is suffering from Bilateral Overian cyst. The patient transferred to Gynecological ward for treatment. It was another unwanted choice for the patient her doctor explain her surgical Procedure Bilateral Overian cystectomy +_ Bilateral total Salpingo- oopharectomy. It is surgical procedure in which removal of reproductive organ (ovaries) takes place. Doctor has taken the surgical procedure consent for the planned surgery.

For young female it was also painful to stay in a setting where celebrations of birth of babies are taking place which triggers sense of disparity of not being mother in whole life. The family of the young female insists the hospital administration for alternate accommodation in another ward so that she will not experience emotional pain.  The above mentioned procedure is known as sterilization of women. It overrides reproductive autonomy of female. According to reproductive justice rights sterilization should not be perform if the patient does not want to do so. In internationally doctors are trained for effective counseling content and counseling process.
