Apparatus:

The demonstration showed the Photovoltaic (PV) panels, the fuel cell and the wind power turbine.

Procedure and principle behind:

(1) Solar cell (solar cell car / touch )

For the solar cell, Photovoltaic (PV) panels convert light energy to the electrical energy by photovoltaic effect, then it change to different form of energy. Under the photovoltaic effect, the energy of the photon is transferred to an electron in an atom of the silicon. The electron is able to escape from its normal position to form current in an electrical circuit. From the demonstration, the electricity generated decomposed the water (H2O) in to H2 and O2 under electrolysis.

(2) Fuel call (H2 & O2 gathering )

H2 and O2 is the basis chemical in the fuel cell for generating electricity. The H2 undergo chemical reaction with oxygen to generate electricity with by product, water. From the demonstration, the electricity generated by the fuel cell was converted to kinetic energy, generating the turbine of the fan.

(3) Wind power ( turbine)

The strength of the energy generated by the wind is determined by the speed of the wind. The kinetic energy of the wind generated the turbine and was converted to electricity energy, then light up the
