Katrina left familys without there homes, family members, pets, and jobs. Making it the largest evacuartin in U.S history since hurricane Floyd. Areas affected were Hurricane Katrina were Bahamas, South Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, on August 29, 2005. early after noon It was declared a level 5 hurricane. residents did not take the warnings too seriously and were not ready.
