People often wonder what a real role model is, but you never know because they come in all shapes and sizes, and an awesome example is Ruby Bridges. Ruby was a role model ever since she was six and had a tough childhood growing up. It was honestly the hardest thing for a child of 6 years old to deal with, but Ruby Bridges took the difficulties and turned them into a way of learning from other people's actions. On November 14, 1960 Ruby Bridges proved this to us. She was the only African American student to attend William Frantz Elementary School. On that morning Ruby and her mom were escorted by four federal marshall´s because the local and other federal officials were not willing to protect her. Nothing intimated her except a woman holding a black doll in a coffin. Ruby Bridges is a role model to countless young adolescents all over the world.
