The influence that made such a great big impact on the world led to many wars and possibly even caused more problems. It was a defensive action and a security wall. A Sphere of influence is any area in which a nation has complete power over another and others. During the 1800s when europe was involved in expansion through the trade of East Asia including China it was a source for high demanded tea. The conflict that was happening between Great Britain and China had become bigger over the trade of opium in China.China was trying to keep the high active drug away and far as possible. But Great Britain on the other hand wanted to keep it a use it for its advantages and make profit from the trade.Once that was establish China had agreed on a treaty with Britain. It was the Treaty of Nanjing. The Treaty of Nanjing also marked the beginning of unfair agreements that helped out the West but hurt China.Because of the agreement China made with Britain there were other countries that forced to sign similar treaties with china which included granting them trading right for each of them. The following countries were France,Germany,Japan and Russia.This forced trade went on to be known as the Sphere of Influence. Once things came to
