The problem statement:
Among the most difficult problems faced by humanity are food shortages and poor diets. Food production has grown in many countries; however, the number of starved people has increased due to rapid population growth and lack of effective food distribution. A new challenge will be presented to the world in the coming years: trying to feed a growing world population with less land and therefore less food. While today, the markets and the specialists are already warning of the lack of food production; still unaware of what should be done to control this problem. It was estimated that in the next half century, world population will have grown by 30% and it is estimated that the demand for food will increase by over 50%. In addition, this requires greater investment in agriculture and countries should implement a new policy framework.
Another huge issue is food insecurity in regard to the amount of fertilizers, chemicals and medicines used for rapid agricultural growth. This has been an ancient and urgent problem to be the direct cause of malnutrition, hunger and death of a significant portion of the world population. Food insecurity is a major cause of human suffering, lost productivity occurs, scarce labor yields, reduces the ability to acquire the knowledge and limited educational outcomes for young people. This is why food safety is of utmost importance to us. We plan to improve the nutritional status of people suffering from diseases caused by these chemicals and of many who are in danger of being in the same situation. For this we found necessary to clarify the issues involved with farming and agricultural problems and we achieved a successful production and distribution strategy that will improve and help get rid of this problem.
The proposed solution:
We assure our clients a safety production and distribution of foods. We have a presence throughout the country through our partners across the country. We have our own network associated with the company, which pays intermediaries for transporting products to decrease the cost of each product; we ensure the transport of goods and arrival on time and in good condition. We also provide logistical support necessary to get food to people who need it most, at the right time and in the right place. We also advocate the issue of hunger a priority on the international agenda, promoting policies, strategies and operations that directly benefit the poor and hungry. Our strategy consists getting our products directly to consumers, wholesalers suitable for larger processors; to institutions and the catering trade.
We have two ways of getting our products to our consumers. The first way is indirectly. An indirect channel involves selling our products to middlemen who then sell them to the final consumer or, in any case, other intermediaries. An intermediary who sells to other intermediaries usually occurs in the case of wholesalers through a distributor, who buys our products and then sells to retailers. Retailers include shops or supermarkets, which ultimately sell products to final consumer. The second way of distribution is with a direct channel. To make use of a direct channel involves selling products directly to consumers without using intermediaries. For example, we use direct channels when we sell our products in our shops, through the Internet, through phone calls or through home visits. The advantage of using this type of channel is that it gives us more control over our products or sales, for example, allows us to ensure that the products will be delivered in good condition, or to offer a good service or customer care.
