Today I am here to address the matter of Affirmative Action and this company. I will address the pros and the cons of Affirmative Action. I will show you how Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity Law work kind of together or some may say hand and hand. To begin I would like to give you the meaning of Affirmative Action. Affirmative Action is when positive steps are taken to help women and minorities in the area of employment, education and business from which they have been excluded historically.

This Action began in 1972 but before that there was a Civil Rights Act that took place in 1964. This action was put in place to eliminate discrimination on the lines of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. They may even feel that their success is labeled as a result of this instead of their hard work and/or ability. We must be in compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity.

We must ensure that these policies be put in place and that they comply with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action. We must have equality for all employees. If this companies AA policies are planned effectively we will achieve all goals established in compliance with EEO. We should make this policy
