INTRODUCTION

Purpose of Plan

The Campaign Manager System Project Plan will provide a definition of the project, including the project’s goals and objectives.

Additionally, the Plan will serve as an agreement between the following parties: Project Sponsor (the client), Project Manager, Project Team, and other personnel associated with and/or affected by the project.

Project Approach

The Campaign Manager System project is expected to be developed and expected to be completed within three months of initiation.

The entire project will be divided into stages, and risk will be minimized by approaching project activities in a staged manner, adding successive complexity and detail to the project activities over the project life cycle.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Business Goals and Objectives

The business goals and objectives for this project are:

 Provides a reliable and easy-to-use platform in creating and sending out email campaigns (e.g. electronic direct mailers) to targeted email recipients. This would include the client’s advertisers’ email campaigns.

пЂ­ Monitor the success and response rate of the email campaigns.

 Provides an online interface for the client’s advertisers to monitor their email campaigns results.

пЂ­ Eliminates redundant/duplicate email addresses, thus ensuring the email campaign is sent to only unique email addresses.

 Provides demographics of email recipients’ preferences on the type of content which they like to receive for subsequent email campaigns.

пЂ­ Enable information sharing between the client/advertisers and its group of subscribed email recipients.

The project goals and objectives for this project are:

 Improving on-time delivery of information to email recipients (previously information was printed on hardcopies and mailed to the recipients’ home/business addresses).
