The authors claim that many people are glued to their video games because of their addiction which has a negative effect on their jobs and personal health. Lee and Finley use appeal to pity in the article about a Korean couple who are addicted to video games, they went out to play video games leaving their four-month-old daughter without anyone watching her while they go out to play video games which later they ended finding their daughter dead when they returned.
