To some Filipinos, mass demonstrations are just a waste of time, worsens the traffic, and brings inconvenience to us. In social media, this is usually condemned by the Netizens especially the working class in Metro Manila because it causes so much traffic. Some say that mass demonstrations are not needed, that they don’t do anything, that they do not make any changes, that they do not help the nation prosper.
Personally, I used to have the same views on mass demonstrations as stated above. I used to think that this is an act of hypocrisy. While students shout for education, they cut their classes to go to these kind of events.
