The Faces In China

In the world we live in now it may be hard to feel how it may be to be in another person's shoes. In addition to the statement in these paragraphs it’ll talk about how it feels to live in China. China is a beautiful country, but under the beauty there is nasty secrets that you’ll soon find out about this stunning and amazing country.

China is located in Southeast Asia along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. Although, China is the third biggest country, it has an astonishing 1,380,594,342 in human population. However the type of government this large country has is a Communist, Unitary, Socialist, One-party, and lastly People’s democratic dictatorship. In addition, the economy that China Communist party has, “Socialist Market Economy”. China’s economy is subject to market forces, and capitalist involved, but the party does not believe that capitalist run their economy.

Not to mention, China was founded on October 1, 1949 by this they would have a leader and there first president was Sun Yat-Sen.People’s Republic of China was founded on October 1st, 1949. However, the first leader of China was Mao Zedong. Mao’s Cultural Revolution, which is a 10 year long political and ideological campaign that targeted restoring revolutionary spirit, created huge social, economic, and political disruption. In 1950 China joins the Korean war on North Korea’s side. Mao Zedong dies in 1976. Two years later, Deng Xiaoping takes over. After 99 years of being under British control, China regains control of China. Xi Jinping became the current leader. On the other hand, in 1989 about 1 million students hold pro-democracy protests in Beijing's Tiananmen Square. The uprising is crushed by the army.

In China and any other Country there are religion involved in the everyday life of with, the normal everyday person. The most popular religion would be Folk religion with an astonishing present of 18.2%. Next would be Buddhism with a 18.2% studying the religion. The third most popular religion would be Christian with 5.1% then the fourth would be Muslim with 1.8%. Next would be a study of other religion with 0.7%. Lastly would be Jewish and Hindu with a .1%. These are the results for the most popular to the least studied religions. Furthermore, the most powerful ethnic group would be Han Chinese with 91.6% following their lead. Next with the Ethnic group would be Hui, Uighur, and Miao with a 7.1% following them. Lastly would be Zhuang with 1.3% following their lead also. In addition, The Chinese culture is in fact one of the world’s oldest cultures, dating from thousands of years ago. The language that the Chinese would be Mandarin dialects are spoken by 71.5% of the population, followed by Wu 8.5%, Yue 5%, Cantonese 5%, Xiang 4.8%, Min 4.1%, Hakka 3.7%, lastly Gan with 2.4%. The largest festival begins on Lunar New Years. It falls between mid January and mid February and its celebration is for their ancestors to honor them. One of the many customs of the Chinese culture would be, burping. It is considered a sign of gratitude. By this, burping is seen as a sign of satisfaction with the meal and is considered a compliment to the chief. However, The Foreigners are allowed to go visit China. However when Foreigners go to China they are treated great. By this they are very gracious and eager to make visitors.
