In our third lesson, we tackled about the potential earthquake hazards. First thing we done is to know what is earthquake. As what learned, earthquake is the sudden shaking or trembling of the earth’s surface that caused great damage. It can also be classified as tectonic or volcanic earthquake.
No one can tell when an earthquake will occur or how strong it is. This is one factor why earthquake is one of the deathly disaster we can experience. It destroys every single thing, the building, infrastructures and unfortunately even killed thousands of lives. It change the landscapes of the ground and washed over all the properties we build from hardwork. Many survivors suffered from trauma because they experience earthquake and because of lack of resources they find it hard to recover from this dark experience. It disrupt not only our day to day routine but our whole life, our love ones becames injured, some are missing and some died.
We can stop earthquake from happening but there are thing we can do to lessen its impact on our life. There are many safety precautionary measures we can learned for us to be prepared incase earthquake will occur at any time.
We have a creative way on what we need to do before,during and after an earthquake. Each group present their short skit clearly. Through that activity I learned that we need to be prepared and knowledgeable in disaster lIke earthquake. We should always stock an emergency kit or survival kit, have plan and always be calm but alert and focus.
