The process of the teaching practice is one that is unique and very thoughtful. It is definitely made to be used to help better the teacher and build them into becoming the best they can be. The live interactions between the teachers and their mentors really helps give a good understanding on what needs to be worked on and improved. Instead of just writing up feedback and giving it to the teachers leaving them clueless as to how to better themselves. Regarding the process, in my opinion the most effective is the video recording and immediate feedback.

Seeing yourself as to how you do things is the best way to learn and better yourself. Not only that but having someone give you feedback on the spot as well helps. In the way that, someone else can see the errors about your teaching that you can’t see for yourself. With having it on video, there’s no denying if you did or didn’t do it. There’s proof on how it was done.

As well as having to be observed through a one-way mirror, instead of actively having the coordinator in view. Just like some candidates said it controlled their anxiety, I as well would agree. Being someone, who’s anxiety goes up quick, not being able to see a coordinator observing me would keep me calm and allow me to do my job as if no one was watching! This step in the teaching practice process is also unique and effective. The coordinator gets to note and observe how one treats the students and how they relay information to each student differently.

It gives the coordinator the in-class look at what it would be like if they were the student in the class. I believe the training practice process is one that is useful to all future teachers, not just for their career, but also for themselves as well. This process will help anyone who is struggling or just needing advice on how to better their teaching career. If the teacher is willing to learn and admit to their mistakes. This training process will help and be very effective now and down the road. I feel it is a process where you are broken down to learn from all your errors so that you can build yourself back up with the help of the coordinator on a solid teaching foundation.
