Now you are driving one the way to journey. In front of you, there are a lot of difficult roads. Some of them lead to Shangri-La, while some of them lead to badland. Even though there are a few old and dusty direction post, however, nobody knows whether it is reliable or not. Similarly, the life is similar to the driving journey, while the direction post is like others’ advice. You don’t realize its authenticity until you travel by yourself. There is no doubt that it’s more reliable to learn about life through personal experience. When it comes to its reason, it can concluded as follow: personal feeling, discrepancy of different people and changeable environment.
First of all, I strongly believed that only if people who go through something by himself, the impression would be deeper and deeper. It’s natural for human beings to keep skeptical of others ‘opinion. People prefer to believe what they exactly see and see by themselves than what others say. Indeed, before acknowledging one new thing, people is just like the ignorant kids who want to touch the flame out of curiosity. When someone tells them it’s dangerous and may get hurt, they might be stop temporally. However, when they touch the flame and really get hurt, they would totally acknowledge how dangerous it is. A touch speaks louder than words. It’s why that no matter how many times the youth listen to harm of smoking, they are still addicted to cigarette.
Secondly, as we all know, “No two leaves are identical in the world”. Actually, people are also different people from people because different people have different character. As a result, A’s advices are not always fit B. For instance, under pressure, A who is easy-going may relax himself by having a word with his friend. On the contrary, if B who is introverted listens to A and relax himself by A’s way. It would be helpless even backfire. Unless B found his own way to relax, it would really mess it up if B just learns from the one who are different from himself. In this case, we won’t deny the influence of the difference from people to people. In fact, the best way to learn is to experience personally.
