Carnage as Entertainment, also know as television violence? Would you believe that the number of violence in the teens and child age is growing because of television? Well that’s what someone believes and today’s youth. I am here to talk about this article “The consequences of Carnage as entertainment”. This article is well written, but it only relies on one side of the judgment not looking at the others point of view so that he can get his point across to the audience.

In my opinion in the first paragraphs john Ellis (the author of this article) just supports his thoughts with examples of massacres that happened around the U.S.A that had to do with school shooting among the youth. In a way it can connect to TV violence but is there any proof of any “suspect” of each case say that there was some kind of connection? No, maybe that child had a troubled youth and didn’t get the attention from people that are needed, no one ever looks at the home of that person, they just jump to a conclusion and blame the television for all the violence it shows non stop day and night.

Ellis states that “these days, children like Kinkel have seen this kind of violent behavior on television countless times. Wouldn’t they know what the consequences lead up to for doing such a horrific thing? I would think so because its common sense, you do something bad you will pay for it in the long run even television media states that in shows where the bad guy is always caught for doing wrong.
