cashier, pick n pay

I worked as a Cashier at Pick N Pay supermarket for three months whilst on a school holiday when I was living in Johannesburg, South Africa.  I learned as a Cashier to enter charges for all items and subtracting the value of any coupons or special discounts. Totaling the customer's bill and taking payment. Counting the drawer's contents and comparing the totals with sales data. Communicating, being polite, being professional even to people you know has taught me dedication and how to show respect among people I work with. Dealing with difficult customers and making sure that I satisfy each and every customer with a smile on my face and giving the best service I can. That my customers are my kings and queens and that they are always right. Being a hard worker, efficient and loyal, and always coming to work on time.
