How To Wash A Car

It's Monday morning and you're running late for work. You scurry out of the house to get into your car, thinking you may be able to make it to work on time. Before you can get in the car you have rubbed the sleeve of your new white shirt next to your car and now have what appears to be Alabama red clay on your sleeve. You now know that your car needs to be washed. There are several ways to wash your car. I will explain how I wash my car and you can see if works for you.

First, find a shady area within reach of an outdoor water faucet to attach a water hose. If you wash your car in direct sunlight it will be hard to prevent spotting caused from the water drying too fast. You will need a two to three gallon pail, with a handle for carrying, to place water and liquid car wash solution into. Place the amount of liquid car wash solution recommended by the manufacturer of the car wash solution of your choice into the pail. Next, fill the pail about three quarters of the way with water using medium to high water pressure so the car wash solution will suds up. Next you will need something to wash the car with, such as a sponge, cotton cloth, or a long handled car washing brush.
