Essay title: Immigration

Do you know how many illegal immigrants come to the United States every year? “The immigration and Naturalization Service estimates that in January of 2000 there were 7 million illegal aliens living in United States, a number that is growing by half a million a year” ( ). This is a frequent problem and what is America going to do to fix this?

Illegal Immigration is the migration across the national borders in a way that violates Immigration laws of the destined country. When passing through other countries you use a visa or green card. A greater number of visas will go to the regions that have lower immigration rates and no visas maybe issued to countries that have sent more than 5000 immigrants to the U.S. during the previous 5 years. There are many types of visas and it all depends on what you come over for. For example, if you were coming to visit friends, or attend business for less than 6 months you need a B visa. You must have a green card for 3-5 years before applying for citizenship( ).
