Globalization is a great opportunity to any company who wants to grow but it has a major impact on the employees. Excessive competition has been a major issue because in the past three years GC Company has experience a decrease in its stocks. With globalization GC Company expects to maximize profitability within three years, but cut call centers in the US to open others in the old continent. GC should implement the fish principle to their employees in order to maintain calm during the process of Globalization.

The CEO of GC company will organize the communication with the persons who plays an important role in the company. The persons involve in the communication are from the departments of marketing, sales, human resources and the union. They will use e-mail to communicate and meetings to discuss the new plans to go global and also to find a way to tell employees about the future of GC Company.

The main issue is about downsizing the domestic calling centers because employees will be relocated and they will face a salary cut of ten percent. In this scenario GC Company should apply the fish principle and start communicating with the employees about the possible benefits if they succeed with the new plans of globalization.

The opportunities that have been presented to GC Company is that with the introduction of new services to local small business and consumer costumers they would be ready to compete again in the market of communications. Alliances with a satellite provider, wireless provider and the cost cutting measures of calling centers, GC will strengthen their ability to become a mega corporation and improve profitability within a minimum of three years.

The stakeholders feel there is no other way to succeed if they do not outsourcing the company’s work, that is cutting call centers and look for a new way to improve services in order to maximize profits. The ethical dilemmas will include the lack of information to the employees about the new changes that will transform the company into a mega corporation.
