Aff Action

I whole heartily believe that veterans should get preferential treatment over better qualified candidates who are not disable veterans regardless of they if they are drawing disability. The fact remains is that they have the experience over any fresh out of college person. My point is since veteran's are giving their lives to defend a grateful nation, then that grateful nation should make giving a preferential treatment to our veteran's priority number one over the non-serving candidates. Sometimes an employer needs to take in consideration that a veteran can bring in much needed experience. I am glad the affirmative action is in placed to give those that sacrificed so much for this country to get ahead once the wars over and retirement phase has kicked in.

I understand that most employers prefer to hire a person with no issues vice having to hire someone that is disabled. It is all about making accommodations for personnel that are disabled. Such as handicapped signs, handicapped ramps, and make the work place handicapped accessible. However, we are talking about disable
