Cyberpornography

Specific Purpose : To persuade my audience that cyberpornography which can cause bad effects to people, esp children must be blocked or banned.

Central Idea : Cyberpornography is an issue that provides many bad things to children, therefore; it needs help from parents as well as government to prevent children from pornography.

Main points : I. Cyberporn is any act or gesture with sexual implications in the internet.

II. Cyberporn can cause bad and harmful effects to children as the pornography site can be easily accessed.

III. Parents and government should cooperate together to prevent children from watching the scene they are not supposed to see in their young age.

Introduction

I. I call it the wonder of the world. Why not? With just a click of mouse, I’m able to send letters, communicate or chat with friends, and even find information from all over the world simply in just a couple of minutes.

II. I believe all of you know this. Yes, it is the internet. Internet has brought us many advantages. It makes our life easier and more efficient. However, every coin has two sides, so does internet. It has disadvantages too.

III. Well, now I’d like to share my experience to show that sometimes internet can be very harmful in some ways, esp for children. Two weeks ago, my 11-year-old cousin came to my house. He said that he wanted to play games online and find information from internet for his school task. Of course, I let him use the internet. One hour later, I went out of my room to take some drink from the kitchen and I passed the living room where my cousin is dealing with the computer. To my surprise, I saw something terrible. In the part of the screen not blocked by his head, I saw a woman exposing her breasts. I closed the video immediately. And when I asked him why he could open that video, he just said that he did it without purpose when he was looking for information about sports.

Body

I. From that day, I realized how easy we can access this pornography site. There are tons of material on the World Wide Web that will give it to children under the age of 18 with just a click of the mouse. And the worst thing is that how this will affect the mental of children because they watched something that they are not supposed to see in their young age. To the children out there, this is leading them in a bad direction. I know there are several kids out there that like to look at nude women or men and some even are addicted.

(Now, let me tell you how pornography will be harmful for children)

II. Cyberporn represents a danger to the minds of young children because of the scarring effects of the graphic material and the deviants in cyberspace who try to hurt little kids.
