Harriett Tubman had very many types of success in her life I believe that her best success was the Underground Railroad because she help many escape from slavery. The thing is that Harriett Tubman was once a slave but she escape from her owner because her owner died in 1849. So in the background essay it states that Harriett Tubman saved many people and took them to Canada because the fugitive slave law was which meant all fugitive slaves had to be sent back but Harriett Tubman didn’t care about the act so she kept helping slave escape from their owners. In document A it shows a map of many routes to get to Canada but the routes were risky because you had a choice either to the north or up or go through the south. But problem with the north is the fugitive slave law and the problem about the south is that they had to cross a river to cross. In document B it show date when she travel for the underground railroad from where she started and where she ended.

The other achievements that she accomplish was in document C is when she was a spy for the federal government and saved 800 slaves from their owners. She was also at risk because if she got caught got she will kill right on the spot because is spying on the enemy. She worked with colonel Whittle which is the captain of the raid was Combahee River raid.

In document D Harriett Tubman achievement was that she was a nurse for the 54th Massachusetts Volunteers.
