INTRODUCTION

Andrew Essien is an independent contractor specializing in network design, implementation administration and networking security. I specialize in Microsoft Technologies.

I design and implement IT solutions for small and midsized businesses with the goal of providing increased productivity, improved employee performance and improved workflow.

LIST OF REFERENCE

Andrew Essien has undertaken a number of projects and has therefore gained the necessary experience and expertise to deliver technical IT services for the Wired Network (LAN) and Server Installation & Configuration for HM Plus Microfinance Ltd.

Below is a table consisting of two (2) similar projects performed for organisations within the private sector which I believe best illustrate our capacity to conduct this assignment.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Nurevas Foods Ghana, a manufacturing and marketing company, deals in broad range of processed foods (primarily sauces, spreads and condiments).Nurevas wanted to centralise the control of network resources to enhance efficiency and also increase productivity.

Description of Actual Services Provided:

The specific technical services performed for Nurevas Foods Ghana includes:

  1. Install a hybrid network (cabled and wireless)
  2. Deploy an Active Directory domain using a windows small business server with Microsoft Exchange, MS SQL and SharePoint Application servers.
  3.  Configure external mail connectors to the local Exchange Organisation. (Email and collaboration)
  4. Configure an industry standard back-strategy for the business
  5. Link the company’s administration office to the factory office in a cost effective remote access solution.
  6. Plan and implement a stringent access control on company network devices and enforce company IT         policies through group policy.
