Introduction

A computer networking system can be of significant value to an organization. The network a system is on used to create, maintain and control a database also plays a significant role; such as how the data is stored and retrieved. As with any networking system there are other area that the organization must be concerned with such as system security, ethical, legal, and privacy issues. To handle these concerns the business needs to analyzes, identify, and establish a solution to the exertions.

Security Issues

System security is a growing problem as attacks on systems rise and become more sophisticated. Security measures need to become stronger as well as more intensive. Network system securities issues are categorized into quite a few categories consider such as Flaws.  Technology times  writer Benjamin Amu  states these categories are ‘ Unauthenticated Flaws in Network Protocols which is, Authenticated Flaws in Network Protocols buffer overflows, format string bugs, and so on, in the underlying network protocols used by database systems, Flaws in Authentication Protocols authentication protocols in which the password is passed “on the wire” in a plaintext or easily decrypted format, Unauthenticated Access to Functionality permit unauthenticated access to functionality that should really be authenticated”. Other risk related to Network system intrusion can compromises personal and private information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers and data deal with financial matter.

Legal Issues

There are legal issues that an organization, database administrator, System administrator as well as individual users has to deal with when it comes to database systems are copyright laws of the United States (title 17, U.S. Code) which are used to protect the creator of original work. Intellectual Property is defined as "any product of the human intellect that is unique, novel, and non-obvious (and has some value in the marketplace)". All database systems should be in compliance as required by the U.S. Copyright Office. It is in the best interest of the business to stay current with any new laws and events that deal with modifications, additions and changes to patents and copyright laws.

Privacy Issues

Most individual feel that network and database system privacy issues basic entail just securing the data on the network and  in the database also information containing the digital databases; that is not true. Network and Database system privacy also incorporates issues of security of the network and database, classification of the information, and protection of information from other unauthorized users. Because of the increasing convenience and accessibility of information technology safety and legality is an emerging concern when it comes to network and database systems as well as personal rights, privacy along with fraud. Emails and ads that focus on particular people can contribute to possible privacy issues even though there are no laws as of yet to protect the information and the database systems being used.

Ethical Issues

The significance of ethics as it relates to database and network system an enormous responsibility for users and organizations. The problems could occur if users or organizations do not have or use a code of conduct could do a great deal of damages to the business as well as its clients.  Even though there regulations, rules and a code of conduct in place; being ethical is  moral choice which individuals have to make and if a person or organizations lacks ethics this can lead to legal ramification, losses in trust which leads to losses in profit and business. The exploitation of the data affects and raise privacy issues. Ethics when using and implement a network and/or database system is just as if not more important than ethics in dealing with day to day business.
