The Canadian Charter Rights and Freedom

The Canadian Charter Rights and Freedom is applicable because there has been an Infringement made on Andrew Beckett’s equality. The infringement that has happened is; Section 15 (1) of the charter, every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination. Andrew Beckett was fired from his job because he was gay.

Firstly, why did they give Andrew Beckett one of the most important lawsuits they’d ever had just 3 weeks before, this is because the bosses didn’t know that he was gay. They claimed that it was a test, a final chance for Andrew Beckett; but why would they give him such a valuable case. This proves that Andrew Beckett was indeed discriminated against because he was gay.

Secondly, Mr. Wheeler claimed that Andrew Beckett didn't lose the complaint in his computer, he never put it in. The copy that was found where did it come from, and how did the complain disappear off the computer? There is only one answer Andres Beckett bosses had something to do with it. This also proves that they didn’t want Andres Beckett to work with them.
