The soundtrack of my life

1: I listen to all sorts of music I don’t mind if it is Rock, Pop just as long as it calls to me. Like Westlife, some of there songs I really like, like there new one home it got a catchy tune to it. I also like musicals Joseph and the Technicolor dream coat is my favourite. My favourite song out of it is stone the crows it starts of slow then it goes fast. I also like television series that have musical episode like Buffy the vampire slayer, Once more with feeling. I love the song walk through the fire that’s in Buffy Musical. I also like to listen to nickelback.

2: Songs that influences my tastes are Leona Lewis bleeding love from the moment it starts of it has a catchy rhythm “Closed off from love I didn’t need the pain” To the chorus “Keep bleeding keep keep bleeding love” it’s a very catchy song. The other one is Epiphany from Sweeney Todd There’s a part in it that is very catchy “Because in all of the whole human race Mrs Lovett There are two kinds of men only two, there’s the one staying put in his proper place and the one with his foot in the other one’s face” It a fast song and its catchy.

3: I listen to music at all time I can beat my brother at chess but only when I listen to music he beat me the first time then I put a bit of music on and I beat him seven times in a row. I also listen to music when I sleep it helps me get to sleep a lot quicker. Also when I am travelling it stops me from getting travel sick because I have something else to concentrate on instead of the car. I listen to music on planes and when I take the dogs out.

4: I listen to different styles of music at different times like when I am sad I listen to slow songs like most of Westlife songs because they are all slow I my favourite slow song is Rascal Flatts What hurts the most it is a sad song. When I am happy I listen to fast songs like songs from Joseph and the Technicolor dream most of them are fast happy songs.

5: Music is important to me because it helps me concentrate at school I listen to music and I can get all my work done quickly. At home it helps me concentrate when I am doing a jigsaw puzzle I can beat my brother at chess when I am listening to music because it helps me concentrate a lot. It also keeps me happy so fast happy songs help me be happy.

1: Epiphany By Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd Sweeney Todd is a musical about a man who is taking revenge upon a man named judge turpin after he falsely accused him and set him to Australia for 15 years hard labour. The song epiphany is set just after Todd almost kills judge turpin but he gets away this is the main song of the story because he makes up his mind in this song to kill anyone he wants. What the song means to me is that you should never give up trying and work for something. There is a verse in the song that tells us about men” Because in all of the whole human race Mrs Lovett There are two kinds of men only two, there’s the one staying put in his proper place and the one with his foot in the other one’s face” It shows us that humans are mean and were always in each others face. There is also a bit in it that shows how mean men can be by killing some one. “And my Lucy lies in ashes and I’ll never hold by girl to me again” what had happened is his wife was took on from him with is child and he does not know were they are.

This song reminds me of the period in my life when I was depressed I was depressed because the doctors put me on Ritalin and they made want to kill myself I never gave up trying to prove to them that I did not need the drugs but they would not listen. So that’s what this song reminds me of.

This song does not remind me of a particular event in my life. It also does not remind me of a particular person. To hear this song now makes me feel happy and calm I listen to it almost every night and I know it off by heart it is a great song for me to hear. When I hear it I remember the bad times in my life and I see how far I have come from then to now. It makes me feel if I work hard at something I can achieve it instead of lashing out at other people like Sweeney Todd Did.

2: Walk though the fire by cast of Buffy the vampire slayer. This song is from an episode of Buffy the vampire slayer it is a musical episode where everyone is singing after a demon casts a spell on sunnydale. This song is set after Buffy’s friends let her go fight a demon alone. I like the song because it is about friendship and that if you’re a real friend you’ll do anything for them, like help them kill a demon.
