4. Activists and Union leaders criticized it for its low wages and low prices that put pressure on competitors/

-To open in west and east side of Chicago

-Chicago works rights board said it would cost more jobs than it would create.

- Chicago Federation of labor said they need to agree not to sell groceries at any Chicago stores, to avoid driving down wages of its grocery competitors.
