Proposal:
Enhancement of the GYMPIK (website and app) to enable people with similar fitness aspirations in the same area/locality to network with each other. The prerequisites for the successful implementation of this proposal are listed below:
- Location sensing ability of the GYMPIK platform (website/app)
- Profile creation by the user (Name/Age/About/Interest/Fitness Goals/Looking for a..)
- GYMPIK provides a customized solution to the user along with a probable list of people the user can network with)
- Ability to generate customized feeds for a particular user in sync with the created profile
Reason for the proposal:
- Most of the fitness related activities attract a lot of attention and commitment when performed in groups (remembering the good old college days when we had a group of body builders who used to hit the gym together and used to work out with a similar schedule)
- People love networking in India, be it the most famous form of marketing (word of mouth) or interacting with new individuals everyday (those who don’t can still choose to keep themselves out of it!)
- The enhancement will enable people to login repeatedly to GYMPIK’s platform in comparison to the present model which will only attract user’s attention when a new service needs to be searched.
Target Audience:
The proposal will definitely widen the scope of the target audience for GYMPIK. People will definitely try to network and leverage the benefits joining a new place in groups. This feature might pool in a lot of people together who otherwise find the charges of exploring fitness centers to be “out of pocket”
