Love? Maybe is about a teenage girl named Pepper, who hates Valentine's Day and love, even though it is her birthday. Her friends make a plan to find a love for Valentines. Pepper does not like the plan, but she does the plan anyway just to make her friends happy. Pepper and her friends find a love potion in a book called, Love Magic. Her and her friends make the potion and put it into truffles. Pepper works at a bakery, her boss is a really good friend of Pepper’s, he let them use the kitchen to make the truffles. When the girls take the truffles to school and give them to guys, that the girls like. Pepper likes one of the popular guys, named Ben Donovan.
On the day that Pepper is going to give Ben a truffle, she gets detention at lunch. While she is in detention, a guy from her childhood years named Bobby. Bobby starts messing with Pepper and out of nowhere Ben Donovan steps in to help her. The next day at lunch Ben told Pepper to sit with him at his table, Pepper said she would even though her ex-boyfriend sits at Ben’s table. When Pepper sits down at the table she asks Ben if he wants a truffle, and of course like all guys he said yes. Pepper is on a swim team and so is Ben.
Ben asks Pepper to a benefit, when they get there she sees another guy that likes her and Ben starts flirting with a another girl, a little bit later Pepper wants to go home because she got into a fight with Charlie (the guy that likes her). She goes and asks Ben to take her home, but Pepper walks up when Ben is getting another girl’s number. When Pepper gets home she goes straight to her room to change and then she grabs her hoodie and goes up to her roof. She sits on her roof till Charlie got home from the benefit.
