I chose to read Winning With Integrity by Leigh Steinberg, because I have a passion for the professional sports industry. I have spent most my life involved in sports or watching sports. I have dreamed of being a professional athlete for years, who hasn’t?

The Public always seems to see the one side of a professional’s life. We always seem the glitz the glamour fame and fortune. What they don’t see is how an athlete’s life is a business and they are always trying to sell themselves to a pro team and the public eye. This book also showed what really goes on in day to day decisions and operations with agents, lawyers, fans, endorsements, family and money. Steinberg takes you through his 5 steps to success with athletes orientation, preparation, positioning, the encounter, making the deal.
