Mary, she was beautiful. The moment I saw her I know we'd be together forever. Although it was custom that our parents would arrange the marriage I knew she was the one.

But one day she came to me, she came to me with news I would have never expected, she was pregnant. How could this have happened? Mary is a virgin.. or at least she was. My first thought was she betrayed me. How could she sleep with another man?

As I stood there trying not to panic she started to explain what happened. She told me an angel of God appeared to her and told her she was going to bear a son who would be the son of God.

I stood there in disbelief. I needed time to think. I went home that day and thought about what's going to happen. Maybe we could get married right now and no one would figure it out. After all we will be shamed for having a child out of wedlock. No one will belief Mary's story.

That night I had a dream, a dream like I've never had before. An angel appeared to me. He told me not to be afraid and in that moment I felt peace. He told me that Mary was to have a son that was from God and to name him Jesus.

After his dream I was no longer worried. Mary had not betrayed me and I needed to take her as my
