Liberal Media

I believe that liberal media is creating a one sided effect on the publics view on politics due to the way that certain events and certain stories are presented. I shall base my entire project on three important issues that are concerning a lot of people. The three main issues are the problem with illegal aliens coming across the borders, the reform on social security, and the claim that the government is supporting the abuse of hostages at the Abu Ghraib prison. These three issues evidently support my theses.

The social security reform is very controversial. Many left wing activists are broadcasting on public television that social security reform is bad. Except many of those activists are failing to mention what could happen if there is no reform and almost everybody that hates the reform has not proposed or mentioned an alternative. Not mentioning the benefits of the reform is like telling a one sided story, which leaves the public with a one sided view.

An interesting, but not as important topic is the claim that the government is supporting the abuse of hostages at the Abu Ghraib prison. The liberal news stations and news channels are reporting that abuse is being tolerated. When a commission of republicans and democrats was put together, the investigation that was held led to the conclusion that no abuse was found. How come all the liberal media stations, that have been stating that there has been abuse, not even bother to report this find? This is another example
