Executive Summary

Moldable Minds provides specialized training for the teachers who teach pre-k children. We are dedicated in providing high quality educational care for every child. We provide personalized training for each of your employee's needs to teach them how to evolve their already existing knowledge about early learning development. We also provide training on how to recognize learning disabilities, working with children who have learning disabilities and those who are considered troubled children.

Our customers are childcare facilities who want to learn more about early learning development, and who want to receive extra training as to how to teach early learning education. Early Learning development is a constantly evolving field, and we are qualified and willing to evolve with the new developments and studies about early learning development.

We bring innovation to the classroom through a curriculum full of fun and exciting experiences creating an atmosphere for learning developing in all age groups and levels. Our programs are designed with the understanding that children develop at different rates in different ways. We provide educators with the resources to nurture the development of children as they explore, investigate, learn, grow, and respond to the world around them. We offer:

• Progressive development with step-by-step learning material for all levels, of development, including special needs children and trouble children.

• Encourage exploration with hands on experience by having training sessions on site. We create a caring environment with knowledgeable and supportive trainers.

• Our staff is made up of highly qualified and educated individuals who are deeply connected to the growth and development of children.

We want to join the Oregon Department of Education, and EQUIP, on the issues they are faced with when it comes to early childhood development and the care that our pre-k children are receiving.

We are planning to advertise in many ways to reach out to our targeted market in Oregon State. Some of our advertising vehicles are going to be mass-emails, Newspapers, internet, radio and television and through personal selling. We will attend seminars geared towards the early learning educators and hold our own seminars to reach out to communities and the families of these children.

There are over 10,000 child care facilities in the state of Oregon, we are planning to segment them starting with the top five populated counties in Oregon which leaves us looking at 2,356 facilities. We want to start with the top five counties with the highest population because they are the largest and we want to have a trickle-down effect. If we start with these counties and get a base of individual facilities that use our services we can move down to the smaller counties. Our strategy behind our plan is to start with a small direct group of facilities, use state seminars, and different advertising vehicles so we are able to get creditability. We can move on to state wide then even nationwide.

We will be using grants and different funding for the facilities that are unable to pay for our services and we will also have a sliding scale payment plan. We will have an initial evaluation (which will be a base cost) of the facility from there we will determine how much training they will require. We will have three classifications of levels of needs to determine where the facilities are and what they will need. Then we will be able to offer training that fits their individual needs and cost that is individualized to fit their needs.
