Shakespeare

Introduction:

Shakespeare is a very good writer one his first play was the Midsummer night’s dream written in the mid-1950s. It was one of the most popular plays in the 1600s the romantic comedy of the Athenians lovers and a group of amateur actors, their interactions with the Duke and Duchess of Athens, Theseus and Hippolyta, and with fairies who inhabit a moonlit forest Oberon, Titania, Puck and Titanias fairy servants First fairy, Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth and Mustardseed. In this play Oberon wanted the orphan boy from Titania and eventually got the orphan boy because Titania was under a spell I wonder if he ever took the spell off of her and if the orphan boy is still his slave. After mid-1606 Shakespeare wrote fewer plays, and none are attributed to him after 1613. His last three plays were collaborations, most likely with John Fletcher who succeeded him as the house playwright fro the king’s men. I think Shakespeare was a very good writer and his story Romeo and Juliet was one of my favourites. It was really romantic and sad it makes most girls cry. The course of true love never did run smooth. Love: There are many different love terms but the one that Shakespeare talks about is the type of love that shows affection and emotion.

"How now, my love! Why is your cheek so pale?

How chance the roses there do fade so fast?"

"Belike for want of rain, which I could well

Beteem them from the tempest of my eyes."

"Ay me! for aught that I could ever read,

Could ever hear by tale or history,

The course of true love never did run smooth;

But, either it was different in blood,--"

"O cross! Too high to be enthrall'd to low."

"Or else misgraffed in respect of years,--"

"O spite! Too old to be engaged to young."

I think Shakespeare is trying to prove that love is easy to fall in and out of.

In this play Hermia’s father Egeus wants her to marry Dimitrius.

Dimitrius likes Hermia but she doesn’t like him she loves Lysander.

Lysander loved Hermia so much, then when he was under the spell Hermia felt pretty heart broken. Not that Lysander knew what was going on…

In the end Lysander and Hermia do get to marry because Dimitrius finally falls in love with Helena even though it’s a spell.

It’s pretty clear that love isn’t real in this relationship.

Although Helena throws her self at Dimitrius and he still doesn’t want her.

They do like both each other in the end, but only because Dimitrius is still under the spell.

Everything works out in the end, but no one knows if Helena and Dimitrius get married.

In this play Shakespeare makes it so that Oberon and Titania a pretty close couple. Oberon does love Titania but he really wants her best friend’s son for his slave.

Titania doesn’t want to give Oberon the boy but Oberon can’t help but to try and get him.

So he uses his power in a wrong way to get the little boy and puts a spell on Titania.

Unfortunately when Titania wakes she first saw the ass and falls in love with him.

Of course Oberon is jealous...

In the end everything works out just the way he wanted it to he does the spell again but this time she woke with him.

Titania gives the orphan boy to Oberon not really knowing what she's doing.

In his play Shakespeare makes up these to characters that aren't supposed be aloud to be together but eventually succeed.

Hermia and Lysander have the power to run away to be together.

They also have the power to be together if they try enough.

The power to love each one another. In this play Shakespeare makes theses characters, Helena loves Dimitrius but he loves fair Hermia.

Dimitrus
