FINAL COURSE REQUIREMENT IN SELF-EXPLORATION

[pic 1]

I think of a butterfly and a rose as a representation for my course requirement based on the one to one talk. A big butterfly with a mixture of colors that consists of mint green, royal blue and violet.

The talk lasted for more or less 5 minutes which is just fast but I think I have shared thoughts, experiences and reflections with depth. The butterfly represents my self. It has sharp edges and bold lining because like me, I want things to be definite and precise. Like what I've shared during the talk, I don't like uncertainty and indecisiveness because I think for me before one has to speak with his/her tongue, one has to think with his/her mind first before blurting out words out of impulsivity without direction. There are sharp edges because I have shared that I am a strong person. The color mint green represents myself as being private. Mint green because this color means calmness and peace. I considered myself as a private person because I think that I find it peaceful. It is just part of my personality not to be too open to everyone like posting everything on social networks because past experiences have taught me well as I grew, I'd like to keep my thoughts and life to people who I really trust because with the society that we have and the past experiences I encountered, I have learned that we should not trust easily and they are easy to abuse "trust" while losing its essence.

Butterflies are known as symbol of transformation due to their impressive process of metamorphosis. Like the butterfly, I have learned that I should always learn to develop and to grow. To fly and to live life. I also gained from the talk and in relation with the lessons learned inside the classroom that one should be willing to adapt and change. To transform and evolve. One should always keep moving to gain insights like the butterfly, it undergo the process of metamorphosis, once they are a caterpillar and confined inside the cocoon like us individuals, we prepare ourselves to be a butterfly, to be the best person we could possibly be and ready for the challenges to face life and to live.
