My name is Camariah Baxter and I am excited to know that I have an opportunity to attend Bethune Cookman University this fall semester of 2017. Bethune Cookman University is the perfect fit for my future interests and endeavors. I am very unique in my own way and am always eager to learn new things. I am very good with interacting and communicating with others an am willing and able to take on new learning experiences.
From the time I learned about possibly having a college career at a university, I instantly became excited. Myself, along with other students involved in the Professional Opportunity Program for Students, were able to visit several colleges. Simply hearing and seeing all the excitement and facial expressions of the future alumni students created a fire of ambition and the need to succeed in my heart and mind. The college visits also gave the impression that attending college and bettering my future will help me to become an immense and stronger individual.
Out of all the colleges that I learned about only one in particular stood out to me, Bethune Cookman University the home of the Wildcats! What stood out to me is Bethune Cookman University did not only talk about the excitement that goes on campus, but they also talked to us about the University’s ability to offer a unique learning experience. One of which is most important for those students, such as myself, who are searching for that more personalized learning environment that is both impressionable and advantageous.
From observing and listening to current college students, I know that Bethune Cookman University is foremost the best college environment for me. Meeting new men and women who share the same mission as me has to be one of the most thrilling feelings to experience.
