Worldview Essay

A person with a Christian worldview understands that God is good, holy, and pure. He wants the best for his children. God is not only a loving God, but He is just (Exodus 33:19-20. 34:6-7). Therefore, since he is good, he can only create good. The Bible says that He has created us with good thoughts and has given us a future and a hope. Mankind, the earth, and all the living beings were created in his perfection (Genesis 1:25-26). However, when mankind stepped outside of God’s loving parameters by disobeying His word, God had to punish man by demonstrating his justice (Genesis 2:17). A Christian should vote for men and women that are God fearing and legislate according to God’s moral laws (Exodus 18:21). For any law or government decision we should always go back and see what the Word of God has to say about a particular situation. If it doesn’t line up with the Word of God, then don’t support it.

First of all a Christian must have a thorough knowledge of the scriptures regarding homosexuality. (Romans 1:18-27, Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We have a serious problem in society today where
