Contrast Essay

No doubt every human being are given 24 hours a day, it thoroughly depends on

how well people spend their time wisely. While some people waste their free time, other

majority of people organizes the activities and spends leisure time effectively. Therefore,

abundance in life is at the mercy of how well the activities are organized whether it is

indoors or outdoors. There is conspicuous contrast between spending leisure time

indoors or outdoors such as watching television, playing video games, running and

swimming.

Outdoor activities provide people with energetic actions and different sightseeing in

the circumstances of pure, fresh environment that people can inspire. For example,

people can feel regenerated only after one-hour jogging outside with fresh cool air

which relaxes people. Moreover, when running or jogging outside, people could enjoy

the changing view and feel motivated having an actual destination. In other words,

outdoor activities will keep you in fit in healthy body and mind rather than staying

indoors where there aren't many situations where you can exercise in a natural

spontaneous way. Not only sports but also traveling around will also allow people to

have an opportunity of encountering a variety of different people. Through interaction

between individuals, we can not but help exchanging ideas, knowledge and cultures

which we can't experience if we stay indoors only. Our modern civilization has a

tendency to confine the individual in limited space with overwhelming works that builds

up the stress. It is needless to say that outdoor atmosphere is more relaxed than the

constant-pressured space. Spending time outside, far from computers, video games,

phones and radiation they involve, would be more beneficial for their health, relieving

stress and refreshing your body and mind.

On the contrary, outdoor activities are prone to have an influence on people in

aspects of safety and weather. For instance, all of sports game and practice always

depend on the weather of the day. So to speak, there is an inconvenience of outdoor

activity where you have to call off due to the weather. Also, the fact that outdoor

activities are utterly exposed to jeopardy is one of the other problems of outdoor

activities. They should be aware of spending time in outdoor at the risk of injuries that
